SHORTBREAD BALLS

1-1/2  cups  (3 sticks) butter, softened 1  pkg.  (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened 1/2  cup  granulated sugar 1  tsp.  vanilla 3  cups  flour 1/4  cup  powdered sugar 1 Preheat oven to 350°F.  Beat butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.  Gradually add flour, beating until well blended after each addition. 2 Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place, 2 inches apart, on ungreased baking sheets. 3 Bake 15 min. or until bottoms of cookies are lightly browned. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.  Sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.

Cheesecake Chocolate Balls

TRIED AND FAILED. BALLS TOO STICKY :( INGREDIENTS  8oz cream cheese, room temperature  4 tablespoons butter, room temperature  1/2 cup crushed graham cracker crumbs  4 cups powdered sugar  10 oz chocolate chips  DIRECTIONS  In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese and butter together until combined.  Add in the graham cracker crumbs and mix well.  Add in the powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, until it is all mixed in.  Cover and chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour.    I usually let it sit overnight.  Place a piece of wax paper on the counter and remove batter from the fridge.  Scoop into balls and roll in between palms if necessary.  Place on wax paper.  Place in fridge for 10-20 minutes if they are too soft to dip.  Melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 15 seconds to make sure it doesn’t harden up.  It should take about 1 minute for the chocolate to completely...

Madi's Cookies

Ingredients 1 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 1/4 cups sifted flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup chopped walnuts powdered sugar ( for rolling baked cookies in) Directions Cream together butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy; stir in vanilla. Whisk together flour and salt; add gradually to butter mixture; stir in chopped nuts. Chill dough if it seems too soft. Form dough into 1 1/4" balls and place onto parchment-lined or ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 400° for 10-12 minutes or just until the cookies start to turn light golden-brown; remove from oven and allow to cool slightly; while cookies are still warm (but NOT hot) remove them from baking sheets and roll, a few at a time, in powdered sugar until evenly coated; cool cookies completely on wire racks. KEVON'S CHOCOLATE BALLS Mix and knead together: 2 cups powdered sugar 1 cube margarine 2 cups peanut butter 3 cups Rice Krispies Roll into balls. Melt in top of double boiler slow: Parafin wax cut into small cubes 1 cup Milk Chocolate Chips 1/2 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips Dip balls in chocolate, remove & place on waxed paper We make these every Christmas! Kevon loves them!
