Karla's Garlicky Shrimp Alfredo

0 INGREDIENTS 10 oz. penne 3 tbsp. butter 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 lb. medium or large shrimp, peeled and deveined 3 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour 3/4 c. milk 1/4 c. low-sodium chicken broth 1 c. shredded mozzarella 1/4 c. plus 2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan Freshly ground black pepper 2 large tomatoes, chopped (about 1 cup) DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook penne according to package directions until al dente. Drain and return to pot. Meanwhile, in a large ovenproof skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add garlic, shrimp, and 2 tablespoons parsley. Season with salt Cook until shrimp is pink and no longer opaque, 2 minutes per side. Transfer shrimp to a plate. (Keep juices in skillet.) Karla's Clam Linguine

Clam Linguine 1 (16oz) Package of Linguine 1/2 cup of butter (one stick) 3 cloves of Chopped Garlic 2 (6.5oz) Cans of Chopped Clams with Juice 1/2 cup Chopped Fresh Parsley 1 t Salt 1/2 t Ground White Pepper Cook Pasta as directed Melt butter in medium saucepan Add Garlic Stir in clams and juice, parsley, salt and white pepper Cook over medium heat until hot. Toss with pasta until evenly coated. ***This is a family favorite and makes really great leftovers.

KARLA'S CHINESE CHICKEN SALAD

1 Pkg Oriental Raman Noodles (break them up and save the packet) cooked chicken chopped 1 pkg Coleslaw (16 oz) 4 oz. Sunflower seeds Chopped green onions Mix salad ingredients together! Dressing: 3 Tbsp. sugar 1/2 cup oil 3 Tbsp. vinegar 1 tsp. Johnny's Seasoning 1 tsp. soy packet from Raman noodles Mix dressing Poor on top of Salad & Toss!

KARLA'S MICROWAVE PEANUT BRITTLE MICROWAVE PEANUT BRITTLE If you have a microwave and you'd like to whip up some peanut brittle in a hurry, this recipe will let you do it in a little less than 10 minutes (plus cooling time, of course). NB. Times are based on a 700W microwave oven so please adjust your cooking time to suit your equipment! Ingredients: 1.5 cups of raw, shelled Virginia peanuts (leave the skins on) 1 cup of granulated sugar 1/2 cup light corn syrup 1 teaspoon of butter 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/8 teaspoon salt Method: Mix the peanuts, sugar, corn syrup and salt together in a microwave-safe casserole dish until well mixed Cook in a microwave on high for 4 minutes; open and stir the mix well; then cook on high for another 4 minutes Open, stir in the butter and vanilla, then microwave on high for a further 2 minutes Finally, remove from the microwave, open the dish, add the baking soda and stir quickly until the mix is light and ...

KARLA'S CLAM CHOWDER

Karla's Clam Chowder: 2-6 1/2 oz. cans minced clams 2-6 slices of bacon 2 & 1/2 cups peeled & cubed potatoes 1 cup finely chopped onion 1 tsp. instant chicken bouilion granules 1 tsp. wocestershire sauce3 1/4 tsp. thyme 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 cup milk 1 cup light cream 3 Tbsp. flour Drain clams...but save the juice Add enough water to the clam juice to make 1 cup ; set aside In large pot fry the bacon til crisp. Remove bacon and add clam juice ; water mix, potatoes, onions, bouillion, worc. sauce, thyme ; pepper! Bring to boil...then reduce heat and simmer about 10 minutes or until potatoes tender Separately mix milk, cream ; flour until smooth. Add to pot and cook...stirring slightly until thick ; bubbly. Add clams, return to boil and cook a couple more minutes Stir in crumbled bacon!enjoy!!!!

KARLA'S CROCK POT PORK CHOPS

Crock Pot Pork Chops 1/4 cup Olive Oil 1 cup chicken broth 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 T paprika 1 T garlic powder 1 T poultry seasoning 1 t dried oregano 1 t dried basil 4 thick cut boneless pork chops salt and pepper to taste 1. In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, chicken broth, garlic, paprick, garlic powder, poultry seasoning and basil. Pour into Crock Pot. 2. Cut small slits in each pork chop with the tip of a knife, and season lightly with salt and pepper. 3. Place pork chops into crock pot, cover, cook on high for 4 hours. Baste periodically with the sauce. **I only had 3 pork chops and it was a pretty tight squeeze in the crock pot. Mine had bones in it too though. I also didn't have any poultry seasoning so I just threw in some Johnny's instead. It was delicious. Even the kids loved it.

KARLA'S STUFFED PEPPERS Country Stuffed Peppers ~ karla rogers This is Dylan's Favorite Dinner. Not mine. 5 Medium Bell Peppers 1lb Ground Sausage 1/2 cup Chopped Onion 1 1/2 cup Cooked White Rice 1 (8oz) Package of Velveeta Cheese 1/2 cup Chopped Tomato (optional) Remove stem and seeds from peppers Place in boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove and cool. Brown sausage and onion. Drain. Stir in rice and 3/4 of cheese and tomato. Fill peppers and place in baking dish and cover with foil. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes. Top with remaining cheese. Bake 5 minutes longer, uncovered
