PAPA'S MEATLOAF

1. HAMBURGER 2. CATSUP 3. LIPTON ONION SOUP 4. PEPPER GARLIC SALT 5. EGG 6. SALTINE CRACKERS 7. WORC. SAUCE Mix it all together.  Place in sprayed meatloaf pan. Bake about 45-60 minutes @ 375 Cover with catsup the last 5 minutes.

Bisquick baked chicken

1 tablespoon butter or margarine 1 cut-up whole chicken (3 to 3 1/2  2/3 cup Original Bisquick™ mix 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika 1 1/4 teaspoons salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 Heat oven to 425°F. Melt butter in rectangular baking dish, 13x9x2 inches, in oven. 2 Stir together Bisquick, paprika, salt and pepper; coat chicken. Place skin sides down in dish (dish and butter should be hot). 3 Bake 35 minutes; turn chicken. Bake about 15 minutes longer or until juice is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut.

Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients 1 tablespoon butter 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped celery 4 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth 1 (14.5 ounce) can vegetable broth 1/2 pound chopped cooked chicken breast   (or cooked roasted chicken) 1 1/2 cups egg noodles 1 cup sliced carrots 1/2 teaspoon dried basil 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano salt and pepper to taste Directions In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter. Cook onion and celery in butter until just tender, 5 minutes. Pour in chicken and vegetable broths and stir in chicken, noodles, carrots, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes before serving.

Hamburger Lipton Onion Soup Mix Stove Top Stuffing mix Worc. Sauce An Egg Large can of Cream of Chicken Soup Mix Mix and roll into balls Put in casserole dish Pour a large can of soup over top Bake 350 for 45 minutes to an hour

OUR BEAN AND HAM SOUP

8 ounces dried navy beans -- rinsed and drained 6 cups water 1 ham bones or diced ham 1/2 medium yellow onion -- chopped 2 stalks celery -- finely chopped 2 carrots 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1. Place beans in large bowl; cover completely with water. Soak 6 to 8 hours or overnight. Drain beans; discard water. 2. Combine beans, water, ham bone or chopped ham, diced onion, diced celery, chopped carrots in slow cooker. 3. Cook on LOW 8 hours or on HIGH 4 hours. 4. Discard hambone 5. Stir in salt and pepper.

PERFECT GRAVY

4 CUPS MEAT DRIPPINGS SET ASIDE 1.  MELT 1 STICK OF BUTTER (1/2 CUP) IN PAN OR POT 2.  SLOWLY ADD 1/2 CUP FLOUR STIRRING 3.  SLOWLY ADD THE 4 CUPS OF MEAT DRIPPINGS.     (IF YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH ADD BROTH) 4.  ADD SEASONINGS  (I ADD GARLIC POWDER, SALT AND PEPPER) For Biscuits and Gravy: Cook sausage and remove from pan Add 1 stick of butter to drippings Add 1/2 cup flour Add 3 cups of milk Add garlic powder, pepper Add sausage back into pan

Mam's Chicken and Dumplins

Directions: Large can cream of chicken soup 1/2 cup milk Add veggies if you like Add chicken (cooked breast or roasted chicken from store cut up) Stir together and put on medium Directions for dumplins Stir 2cups of Bisquick and 2/3 cup milk until soft dough forms. Drop by spoonfuls onto boiling stew; reduce heat. Cook uncovered 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes.

CHICKEN SOUP Put in a pot: Rotisserie Chicken (cut up) Carrots  (sliced) Celery  (sliced) Potatoes (optional) Add: 1 can chicken broth Water to cover 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Pepper Garlic Salt Onion Flakes Thyme Lipton Onion Soup Mix (1/2) 2 chicken broth cubes Boil until veggies done Pasta is optional

Blacks Vegetable Beef Soup

Lanny and Joyce made up a recipe today.  Lanny named it Black Soup.... our last name.  It isn't really black. lol!  It is basically a vegetable beef soup. It was so tasty, too! Set in Crock Pot: Sliced Carrots (we did about 5....love carrots) 2 celery stalks sliced Potatoes (peeled and diced) You can add canned or frozen corn or frozen peas if  you want. Anything goes! Brown in oil: Cut up beef (we get a chuck roast...cheaper than a pack of stew meat and you get more meat) Add pepper and garlic salt to meat Diced up onion small Keep Adding: Put drippings and 4 cups of beef broth in crock pot Add meat Lipton Onion Soup Mix A couple tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce Turn on high for an hour ADD NOODLES IF YOU LIKE Turn down to low for 6-7 more hours ...

Papa's No Bake Oatmeal Cookies

NO BAKE OATMEAL COOKIES Ingredients 2 cups sugar 4 tablespoons cocoa 1 stick butter 1/2 cup milk 1 cup peanut butter 1 tablespoon vanilla 3 cups oatmeal Waxed paper Directions In a heavy saucepan bring to a boil, the sugar, cocoa, butter and milk. Let boil for 1 minute then add peanut butter, vanilla and oatmeal. On a sheet of waxed paper, drop mixture by the teaspoonfuls, until cooled and hardened.

Mam's perfect Clam Chowder

Ingredients: 4 (6 1/2 ounce) cans minced clams 1/2 cup finely chopped onion 1/2 cup finely diced celery 3 cups finely diced potatoes 1/2 cup butter or margarine (a cube) 1/4 cup flour 2 cups half-and-half, warmed 1 teaspoon salt, to taste 1 dash pepper 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce 1/2 cup juice from clam 1 chicken bouillon cube 2 cups chicken broth or more as needed Directions: Drain the juice from the clams; set the clams aside and save the juice. In Pot...Cook bacon until crisp, remove and set aside. Add 1/2 cube butter and 1/2 cup finely chopped sweet onions and cook until softened; 6 minutes Add 1/4 cup flour and stir continuously until absorbed; about 1 minute. Slowly stir in 2 cups half and half, 2 cups  chicken stock, 1/2 cup  clam juice ; stir about 5 minutes Prepare and add 1/2 cup finely chopped celery and 3 cups diced potatoes and put in pot. Add bouillon cube, 1/2 tsp sugar, 2 TBSP worc. sauce, salt and pepper   Add clams...

Oven Baked Tacos

1.5 lbs ground beef Salt, pepper and garlic salt, to taste 4 ounce tomato sauce 1 pkg taco seasoning 1 can refried beans (I used about 3/4 of the can) 1 ½ cups shredded cheese 24 hard taco shells Instructions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Season meat with salt, pepper and garlic salt. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any fat. Return to pan and add taco seasoning. Mix to combine. Add tomato sauce and refried beans and stir together. Cook for additional 5 minutes. Spoon mixture into taco shells standing them up in a 9×13 pan. Sprinkle tacos with cheese. Bake at 400 for 10-12 minutes or until heated through.

OLIVE GARDEN'S ALFREDO FETTUCINE

The Recipe 8 ounces Cream cheese -- cut in bits 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese -- grated 1/2 cup Butter or margarine 1/2 cup Milk 8 ounces Fettuccine; cooked -- drain In large saucepan combine cream cheese, Parmesan, butter and milk, stirring constantly until smooth. Toss pasta lightly with sauce, coating well. Leftovers freeze well. I WOULD ADD CHICKEN TO MAKE IT BETTER!!!!!

AUNT SHERRY'S CLAM DIP

I GOT THIS RECIPE AT HEATHER'S WEDDING RECEPTION.... IT IS HER AUNT'S AND IS SO EASY & NUMMY! 2 8oz. pkgs room temp cream cheese 2 8 oz. cans chopped clams (drain and save juice) 2 tbsp. mayo garlic powder to taste worcestershire sauce to taste Mix cream cheese, may, garlic powder & worc. sauce in a bowl. Slowly & carefully add clam juice until it's dippable. Add clams to mix and frig overnight. Take out an hour before serving. Add more of clam juice if necessary.

GRANDMA LANGAGER'S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES Grandma's Chocolate Chip Cookies Cream together: 3 STICKS OF BUTTER OR MARGARINE (SOFTENED) 1 and 1/2 CUPS WHITE SUGAR 3/4 CUPS BROWN SUGAR Add 1 and 1/2 TSP. VANILLA 3 EGGS 1 and 1/2 TSP. BAKING SODA 3 TSP. WARM WATER 3/4 TSP SALT 3 and 3/4 CUPS FLOUR BAKE 350 ABOUT 10 MINUTES

KEVON'S CHOCOLATE BALLS

KEVON'S CHOCOLATE BALLS Mix and knead together: 2 cups powdered sugar 1 cube margarine 2 cups peanut butter 3 cups Rice Krispies Roll into balls. Melt in top of double boiler slow: Parafin wax cut into small cubes 1 cup Milk Chocolate Chips 1/2 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips Dip balls in chocolate, remove & place on waxed paper We make these every Christmas! Kevon loves them!

JOYCE'S APPLE CRISP APPLE CRISP 6 cups peeled & sliced apples 2/3 cup quick cooking oatmeal 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup bisquick 1/2 stick butter or margarine (softened) 3/4 tsp. cinnamon 3/4 tsp. nutmeg Spread apples in 8x8 pan Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle over apples Bake 375 ... about 35-40 minutes
