AUNT SHERRY'S CLAM DIP

I GOT THIS RECIPE AT HEATHER'S WEDDING RECEPTION.... IT IS HER AUNT'S AND IS SO EASY & NUMMY! 2 8oz. pkgs room temp cream cheese 2 8 oz. cans chopped clams (drain and save juice) 2 tbsp. mayo garlic powder to taste worcestershire sauce to taste Mix cream cheese, may, garlic powder & worc. sauce in a bowl. Slowly & carefully add clam juice until it's dippable. Add clams to mix and frig overnight. Take out an hour before serving. Add more of clam juice if necessary.

15 MINUTE SHRIMP SCAMPI

GREAT DISH! 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil 1 large onion, chopped fine or processed 6 cloves garlic, crushed 1 cup white wine (nearly any kind...just not overly sweet) 6 tbsp. butter 1 lb. precooked jumbo frozen shrimp, thawed salt and pepper 1 package angel hair pasta Start salted water boiling for pasta Heat olive oil. Saute garlic and onions over high heat til onions clear Add wine and turn to medium....reduce for 5 minutes (alcohol smell will be gone) Add shrimp til warmed through (start to curl up) Stir in butter til melted Turn heat to low/warm. Salt / Pepper to taste Cover til pasta is ready (2-3 minutes for angel hair to cook) Serve together!

GRANDMA WAVE'S FUDGE Combine & boil 5 minutes.... stirring constantly: 3 cups sugar 3/4 cup margarine 2/3 cup evaporated milk (a 5 1/3 fl. oz. can) Remove from heat Stir in: 1 12 oz. package of chocolate chips Add & beat until well blended: 1 jar Kraft Marshmallow Creme (7 oz) 1 cup chopped nuts 1 tsp. vanilla Pour into 13x9 inch pan and cool at room temp Cut into squares and individually wrap each piece in foil!

KARLA'S MICROWAVE PEANUT BRITTLE MICROWAVE PEANUT BRITTLE If you have a microwave and you'd like to whip up some peanut brittle in a hurry, this recipe will let you do it in a little less than 10 minutes (plus cooling time, of course). NB. Times are based on a 700W microwave oven so please adjust your cooking time to suit your equipment! FROZEN CHOCOLATE MOUSSE SQUARES Frozen Chocolate Mousse Squares Recipe Rating: Prep Time: 15 minTotal Time: 6 hr 15 minMakes: 16 servings, 1 square each 12 OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, crushed 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted 2 containers (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese Spread 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk 4 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, melted 1 cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping MIX crushed cookies and the butter in foil-lined 9-inch square pan. Press firmly onto bottom of pan to form crust. BEAT cream cheese in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed until creamy. Gradually add milk, mixing well after each addition. Blend in chocolate. Aunt Lorraine's 7-up Salad Mix: 2 small pkgs lemon jello 2 cups boiling water 2 cups 7 up Add when jello is partially set: Drained pineapple (set aside juice and save!) 1 cup mini marshmallows 2 large banana's sliced TOPPING: Cook until thick: 1/2 cup sugar 1/ cup pineapple juice 1 beaten egg 2 TBSP flour cool down.... then add 1 cup whipped cream Spread on jello dish & sprinkle with 1/4 cup Shredded American Cheese

EASY FROSTING FROM AMY! SMOOTH AND CREAMY FROSTING 1 pkg. (4 serving size) instant pudding (any flavor) 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar 1 cup cold milk 1 (8 oz) container (3 1/2 cups) Cool Whip, thawed Combine dry pudding mix, sugar, and milk in small bowl. Beat slowly with rotary beater or at lowest speed of mixer until well blended, about 1 minute. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread on cake at once. Store in refrigerator. Makes about 4 cups (enough for two 9 inch layers)

Refrigerate until served.

TARA'S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE CAKE 1 tube (18 oz) refrigerated cookie dough 1 pkg. cake mix 3 cans frosting Eggs, oil and water Basic Recipe Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat 2 (9") round cake pans with cooking spray. (Or a 13 x 9 pan if you want less work). Divide cookie dough into 2 pieces; press 1 piece into bottom of each pan. Prepare cake mix according to package directions using eggs, oil and water. Pour over dough, evenly dividing between pans. Bake 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pans; cool completely on racks. Fill and spread cake layers with frosting. (I only used 2 cans for a double layer cake. I also have not made it in a 13 x 9 yet so I don’t know if it takes less that 40 minutes to cook or not. GRANDMA LARSEN'S ROLLS GRANDMA LARSEN'S ROLLS! In a bowl place: 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup butter 1 tbsp. salt Pour 2 cups boiling water into bowl Let stand til luke warm. Add 2 pkgs. yeast that was dissolved in 1/2 cup lukewarm water Add 2 well beaten eggs 7 cups of flour Mix well  let rise until doubled in bulk Stir down  let rise again. With greased hands (may have to grease often as dough will be sticky) ....mold into rolls and place next to each other (touching each other) in a greased pan. Let rise about 1/2 hour or so and bake in hot oven at 425 for 15 minutes.

KARLA'S CLAM CHOWDER

Karla's Clam Chowder: 2-6 1/2 oz. cans minced clams 2-6 slices of bacon 2 & 1/2 cups peeled & cubed potatoes 1 cup finely chopped onion 1 tsp. instant chicken bouilion granules 1 tsp. wocestershire sauce3 1/4 tsp. thyme 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 cup milk 1 cup light cream 3 Tbsp. flour Drain clams...but save the juice Add enough water to the clam juice to make 1 cup ; set aside In large pot fry the bacon til crisp. Remove bacon and add clam juice ; water mix, potatoes, onions, bouillion, worc. sauce, thyme ; pepper! Bring to boil...then reduce heat and simmer about 10 minutes or until potatoes tender Separately mix milk, cream ; flour until smooth. Add to pot and cook...stirring slightly until thick ; bubbly. Add clams, return to boil and cook a couple more minutes Stir in crumbled bacon!enjoy!!!!

LOIS' TURKEY FRAME SOUP

Lois' Turkey Frame Soup 1 meaty turkey frame 3 quarts water (12 cups) 1 onion - quartered 2 tsp. salt 1 chicken boullion cube 1 & 1/2 tsp dried oregano (crushed) 1 tsp. dried thyme (crushed) 1/8 tsp. pepper 4 cups fresh vegetable (I use 1/2 bag frozen vegies and stack celery) 1 & 1/2 cups medium noodles Break up frame and place in large dutch oven with water, onion & salt Bring to boil... then reduce heat and cover Simmer 1 & 1/2 hours Remove frame When turkey is cool enough to handle remove the meat and discard bones Strain the broth and discard solids.... then return to pan. Stir in the turkey, boullion, oregano, thyme, pepper, and vegetables. Bring to boil... then reduce and simmer for 45 minutes. Stir in uncooked noodles & simmer until noodles are done!

JOYCE'S SWEET & SOUR CHICKEN WINGS

JOYCE'S SWEET & SOUR CHICKEN WINGS These sweet and sour wings are such a favorite in our family. They are messy to cook and messy to eat, but they are so good! I've had this recipe longer than I can remember! 5 lbs disjointed chicken wings water flour or cornstarch eggs oil sauce: 1/2 cup chicken broth 1 1/2 cups brown sugar 1 cup vinegar 1/2 cup ketchup 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 pinch salt 2 hours 15 minutes 45 mins prep Boil the wings and then simmer for a little while. Beat 4 eggs into a bowl (may have to add more as you go). Place flour in a dish. Dip wings into flour and then the egg mixture. Place in frying pan. Fry until brown turning only once. Place into 9X13 cake pan single layer. Mix all the sauce ingredients into a pot, heat, and dissolve. Pour over chicken wings. Bake 300 degrees uncovered for 1 1/2 hours, turning often.

JOYCE'S WORKPERSON'S ROAST WITH GRAVY

WORKPERSON'S ROAST! Place roast in center of large sheet of foil in 9X13 pan Cut slits in roast and push in sections of garlic if you want Pour a large can of Cream of Chicken soup over the top Sprinkle Worcestershire sauce on top Pour Lipton Soup Mix on Add salt and pepper Pull up and seal roast in foil...leaving space around top. Bake 250 for 10 hours! Or place it in your crockpot on low (without the foil)! Smells great when you walk in from a hectic day at work!

PRIME RIB

Prime Rib Prime rib roast the easy way. Tastes delicious! Servings: 12 Ingredients: 1 (10 pound) prime rib roast 6 cloves garlic, sliced salt and ground black pepper to taste 1/2 cup Dijon mustard Directions: 1. Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F (260 degrees C). 2. Make slits all over the roast by pricking with a small knife. Insert slivers of sliced garlic. Season the roast with salt and pepper, then spread generously with mustard. Place on a rack in a roasting pan, and cover. 3. Roast for 60 minutes in the preheated oven. Turn off oven. Leave oven closed, and do not peek for 90 minutes. The internal temperature of the meat should be at least 140 degrees F (60 degrees C) for medium-rare, or 155 degrees F (68 degrees C) for medium.

THELMA RYAN'S MEATBALLS!

Thelma's Meatballs I remember going to my friend, Dar's house in high school. Her mom made the best meatballs and I got the recipe from her years later... I love how seniors do "a pinch of" ... so here are Thelma's meatballs: 1 & 1/2 lb. hamburger 1/4 lb. sausage 1/4 cup evaporated milk bread crumbs 1 egg pinch of allspice pinch of oregano onion (if desired) Mix all the ingredients together! Use enough bread crumbs to make a firm consistancy Shape into small balls and brown ( you can put them on a cookie sheet and bake about 20 minutes at 375) Put meatballs in serving dish Gravy: Add a couple of tabsp. flour to drippings in a pan. Add aboout 1 cup water Stir constantly Add milk until the desired thickness is reached. Put the meatballs back in the gravy and simmer a few minutes before serving over mashed potatoes or rice!

KARLA'S CROCK POT PORK CHOPS

Crock Pot Pork Chops 1/4 cup Olive Oil 1 cup chicken broth 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 T paprika 1 T garlic powder 1 T poultry seasoning 1 t dried oregano 1 t dried basil 4 thick cut boneless pork chops salt and pepper to taste 1. In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, chicken broth, garlic, paprick, garlic powder, poultry seasoning and basil. Pour into Crock Pot. 2. Cut small slits in each pork chop with the tip of a knife, and season lightly with salt and pepper. 3. Place pork chops into crock pot, cover, cook on high for 4 hours. Baste periodically with the sauce. **I only had 3 pork chops and it was a pretty tight squeeze in the crock pot. Mine had bones in it too though. I also didn't have any poultry seasoning so I just threw in some Johnny's instead. It was delicious. Even the kids loved it.

CRUSHED CHIPS OR BREAD CRUMBS WITH MELTED BUTTER ON TOP BAKE 350 45 MINUTES (HERE YOU GO HEATHER!)

CROCK POT TURKEY DISH

CROCKPOT TURKEY DISH Slow Cooked Turkey Roast w/Vegetables 1 cup chopped onion 3 cups diced red potatoes 1 pkg (16 oz) baby carrots 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of celery soup (I use Healthy Request from Campbells) 1/2 cup water 1 tsp poultry seasoning 3 lbs Butterball Boneless Breast of Turkey Roast, thawed if frozen 1 tbls Johnny's seasoning salt 1/4 cup instant mashed potato flakes 1/8 cup dehydrated parsley Directions: 1. Coat a 5 qt slow cooker with no-stick cooking spray. 2. Place onion, red potato and carrots in slow cooker. Stir together soup, water, poultry seasoning; pour over vegetables. 3. Remove turkey breast roast from package and dry with paper towels. Lift string netting and shift position on roast for easier removal after cooking. Sprinkle seasoning salt blend over roast and place roast on vegetables. 4. Cover; cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hrs. Turkey roast internal temperature should be 170F or above. 5. AMY'S CROCK POT CUBE STEAK

CROCK PT CUBE STEAK FROM AMY No Peek Cube Steak Casserole Serves/Makes: 4 Ingredients: 4 cube steaks or minute steaks (6 oz size) 1 can cream of chicken soup 1/2 soup can water 1 envelope onion soup mix 4 potatoes, halved Directions: Spray crockpot with cooking spray. In a bowl, mix soups and water together. Put about 1/2 cup soup mixture on bottom of crockpot. Add 2 steaks; put another 1/2 cup soup mixture on top of steaks. Add remaining steaks and rest of soup mixture. Place potatoes on top. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high 4-5.

AUNT LORRAINE'S HOTDISH Brown 1 and 1/2 lbs. hamburger Add diced onion to the hamburger while cooking Meanwhile boil a package of noodles When the burger is done... drain grease. Place burger in a 9 x 12 cake pan Mix in: 2 cans chicken gumbo soup 2 cans cream of chicken soup 1 can cream of mushroom soup Add noodles Bake 350 40 minutes One of papa's favorite dishes....in fact I am making it tonight!

Joyce's Enchilada's Cook and drain 1 lb burger or Cook and dice chicken (whichever you prefer) Add and simmer 10 minutes: 1 can tomatoes (16 oz) 1 can tomato paste (6 oz) 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 TBSP Chili Powder 1 and 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 pepper 1 package tortilla's (8 oz) Fry in hot oil til soft and drain Place rounded tablespoons full of meat sauce in middle of each tortilla Add Shredded Cheddar Cheese Roll up tight Place seam down in baking dish Top with remaining sauce and cheese Cover dish with foil Bake 375 25 minutes

MARCEY'S NORTH COUNTRY PASTIES

Cousin Marcey's North Country Pasties 1 lb. top round beef (hamburger) 1 1/2 cup diced carrots 2 tsp. salt 1  1/2 cups diced potatoes 1  1/2 cups chopped onion 1/4 tsp. pepper Prepare pastry: 3 cups flour 3/4 tsp. baking powder 3/4 cup ICE WATER 1 & 1/2 tsp. salt 1 cup shortening Mix dry ingredients together.....then cut in shortening and toss with a fork Slowly add water. Gather in ball and wrap in wax paper.... frig for awhile Divide the dough into 4 portions....roll out to 12 circles on floured plastic over damp counter. Cut meat in strip then squares or use hamburger (low fat!) Mix with all the ingredients in a bowl! Place beef mixture in center of pasties. Fold over to look like a turnover.... moisten seal edges. It was so nummy but she hasn't served it since! 1/2 lb. shrimp 1/2 lb. scallops 1/2 lb. boneless cod Pouch seafood in enough water to cover until done (not too long!) Boil lasagne noodles until 1/2 way done 2 big Ricotta cheese Italian White Sauce 4 cheese sauce 1 pint 1/2 & 1/2 Mix together until thick gravy consistancy 2 cups Mozzarella cheese In pan layer noodles, seafood, ricotta cheese sauce making 3 layers. Put 1 cup of the Mozzarella cheese on top of first layer and 1 cup on the top Bake 300 1/2 hour - 45 minutes covered In pan layer noodles

KARLA'S STUFFED PEPPERS Country Stuffed Peppers ~ karla rogers This is Dylan's Favorite Dinner. Not mine. 5 Medium Bell Peppers 1lb Ground Sausage 1/2 cup Chopped Onion 1 1/2 cup Cooked White Rice 1 (8oz) Package of Velveeta Cheese 1/2 cup Chopped Tomato (optional) Remove stem and seeds from peppers Place in boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove and cool. Brown sausage and onion. Drain. Stir in rice and 3/4 of cheese and tomato. Fill peppers and place in baking dish and cover with foil. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes. Top with remaining cheese. Bake 5 minutes longer, uncovered
