Shortbread Cookies from Erin!

1 cup flour 1/3 cup powdered sugar 1 stick softened butter ... ** chocolate chips, toffee chunks, or whatever you fancy can be added to mixture (I ended up doing a double batch, though) combine everything until dry and crumbly. Put in a round cake pan and flatten with back of spoon. Bake at 300* for about 30 min. Cut into wedges while warm, let cool and take out with spatula.

VALENTINE COOKIES FOR SWEETHEART!!!!

SWEET KISS VALENTINE COOKIES .... addie rogan 1 c butter 2/3 c sugar 1 tsp vanilla 2 c flour 1 c walnuts, chopped fine 1 pk chocolate kisses 1 c powdered sugar Beat butter, sugar and vanilla at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add flour and nuts on low speed until well-blended. Chill dough 2 hours. For each cookie, use about 1 tablespoon of dough to encase one chocolate kiss completely. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until set but not brown, about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove and roll in powdered sugar.

Home made pizza... the best!

Aunt Margie's Pizza Dough 6 cups flour 6 T. sugar 1 T. salt 1 T. yeast 1 cup warm water 1 cup milk 5 T. oil Mix half of the flour and the other dry ingredients in a bowl. Add water, milk and oil. (I have also substituted dry milk powder and 1 cup of water for the milk. It works fine.) Mix well. Add remaining dough a cup at a time until you can work the dough. It should be slightly sticky. If you get it too stiff, it is hard to spread.  Lightly grease baking pan. Spread dough out using the heels of your hands. and the pads of your fingertips. Use flour to keep from sticking. Cover with favorite toppings. Bake on the bottom rack at 425 degrees for about 18 minutes. Of course, ovens vary, so check it until it looks the way you want it. This recipe will make two cookie-sheet sized pizzas.

Chocolate Frosting!

I made this frosting for the wacky cake and couldn't believe how simple it was! Mix: 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa 4 cups powdered sugar Cream in: 1 stick butter Add: 1/2 cup evaporated milk 1 tsp vanilla Simple!

Easy Chocolate Fudge

(12 squares) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk 2 tsp. vanilla Optional Add-In's (See Tips.) Make It! MAM'S BREAKFAST CASSEROLE

8 frozen hashbrown patties 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1 lb cubed ham 7 eggs 1 cup milk 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp dry mustard Lay hashbrowns in 9x12 baking dish Sprinkle cheese and ham on top Mix rest of ingredients and pour over top Bake 350 for 1 hour Uncover and bake 15 minutes.... until knife comes clean!

Baked oatmeal bars from Dena

Baked Oatmeal Mix together: 1c oat bran (I substituted gluten-free oatmeal and it still comes out great) 1c oatmeal (I used gluten-free oatmeal) 1 1/2t baking powder 1t baking soda pinch of salt (I omitted) Blend together: 1 egg (I used egg beaters) 1c fat-free evaporated milk 1/2c fat-free plain yogurt (I used greek yogurt since it has least amount of sugar that I can find) 1/2c unsweetened applesauce (I use the pre-portioned containers...they are each 1/2c) 1 1/2t pure vanilla extract 1t ground cinnamon 1t pumpkin pie spice -rounded 1/2t nutmeg 3 splenda packets (I use stevia) * Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
